Can you apply a non-skid surface to my tub when its reglazed?
We offer both an non-skid option, or our own permanent non-skid bathmats. See the "Bathmats" link under care instructions. If you choose your own mat, make sure that it is not a suction cup style mat.
Why is the drying time different between companies?
Some firms choose to add a drying accelerator to their mixtures, while others will utilize heat lamps to accelerate the drying time. We feel our customers appreciate the cost savings that is available through natural air drying.
Why do you charge for travel?
Our services are offered in numerous metro areas throughout the Midwest. However, those areas on the outskirts may be charged a reasonable service fee to offset the additional cost of travel.
If my tub has been reglazed before, can it be reglazed again?
Yes, it can be reglazed again. However, the old coating must be stripped off, and we charge an additional fee for this service. Generally, stripping a tub requires about 2 additional man hours.
If I drop something in my tub, will it chip?
Your reglazed surface is both tough and durable. However, it is possible, just as it is with a new tub, to chip the surface. If this happens, promptly arrange for a service call, or use one of our touchup kits.
